corrugated perforated anodized aluminum/polycarbonate

95" x 61" x 30"

This 7-ft sculpture of perforated aluminum contains the void of a running woman to acknowledge the transcendent guide of Sacagawea on the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Unafraid of danger she leads the way to the future—gaining both the safety and admiration of her followers.

A bold departure in material led to the development of this sculpture.  The material's porosity allows colored light to be projected on to and through the piece transforming the space - and enhancing the sensation of continuous motion.
