Body of Work, began with Arc De Triomphe, composed of 13 aluminum casts of pregnant women. This series speaks to the fragility of life and vulnerability of childbirth. Initial Response, the second installation, consists of 14 pregnant torsos that wrap around an oversized letter lit from within. Each capsule identified with an initial -- a letter designates something new. While each capsule is a self-contained sculpture, the installation in the gallery in low light allows the letters to illuminate the capsules sending a range of color throughout the entire space.
