Inspired by a twelve year old girl who I also worked with ten years later when she was twenty-two - I developed this series of

life-scale figures, bas-relief sculptures and many drawings and photographs. To my eye, she carried herself

like an ancient Egyptian sculpture. 

Also, I made a short film of her on my San Francisco rooftop - located in North Beach overlooking the Bay Bridge.  

These were made in the 1980's and some later in the 1990's in Minneapolis.
